About me
I was born in Slovenia in 1989 and currently live in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee. I grew up in Slovenia, where I attended primary school in Mojstrana and secondary school in Jesenice. After completing my secondary education, I moved to Austria, where I studied German and English teaching at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. I graduated with the academic degree Magistra of Philosophy (Mag. phil.).
In the years that followed, I gained extensive professional experience in the field of education, particularly as a teacher of German and English at a secondary school BORG Wolfsberg. At the same time, I began to explore psychotherapeutic topics more deeply, which eventually led to a change in my professional path.
The first step on this journey was the psychotherapeutic preparatory training (Propädeutikum) at the Austrian Society for Scientific, Client-Centered Psychotherapy and Person-Oriented Counseling (ÖGWG). This was followed by practical experience working with children, adolescents, and families, including positions at the Mini-Ambulatory Clinic Wolfsberg (pro mente) and the Mental Health Rehabilitation Clinic Klagenfurt GmbH.
I am currently completing my specialist training in Systemic Family Therapy at the Austrian Association for Group Dynamics and Group Therapy (ÖAGG). I have obtained the authorization to practice psychotherapy independently under supervision and have been working in my own practice in Klagenfurt since June 2025.
I see psychotherapy as a vocation. Respectful and mindful encounters with people in their individual life contexts form the foundation of my work. It is important to me to create a supportive and open space in which relief, personal growth, and new perspectives can emerge. An empathetic and culturally sensitive approach is particularly important to me—also due to my multilingual background and my fluency in Slovenian, German, English, Croatian, Bosnian, and Serbian.
